Trinity Ellis

Trinity Ellis is a fast and fearless luge athlete who loves racing down icy tracks. She first tried luge when she was 11 years old on a school field trip—and she loved the speed right away!Trinity worked hard and joined Luge Canada’s national team as a teenager. She quickly started winning medals and racing against athletes from all over the world. She even became Canadian junior and senior national champion in the same year!Trinity competed at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing, where she was the top Canadian in women’s singles luge. She also helped Team Canada race in the team relay.When she’s not sliding on ice, Trinity enjoys drawing, painting, and spending time outdoors hiking and camping in the mountains. She dreams of continuing her education in science and always reminds herself to believe big—her favorite saying is, “Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.”Trinity’s story shows that trying something new can lead to amazing adventures!
