Andrew Kurka

Born in Palmer, Alaska and raised on a farm, Andrew was an avid athlete, specifically in wrestling, winning the state championship six times. At the age of 13, an accident in a 4-wheeler left him paralyzed, but that hasn’t slowed him down. He’s tried bodybuilding, water skiing, and snowmachine racing, but mono skiing is where he excels. Andrew is a 2014 Paralympian and won a gold medal at the 2017 World Para Alpine Championships. At the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games, Andrew won a gold and a silver medal for Team USA.
