Evan Guthrie

Evan grew up in the mountains of Peachland, British Columbia, and loved spending time outside. Evan played almost every sport he could growing up, but none seemed to fit him just right. Riding bikes was always a favourite of his, and over years of hard work, Evan slowly moved up the ranks until he was one of the top juniors in the world. Evan says that riding bikes allows him time to connect with himself and nature. He has also begun to race the enduro discipline of mountain biking. Currently he is a cycling British Columbia coach, a cross-country and enduro racer, and has just started his dream job as a firefighter in Vancouver. Evan is a four-time National Champion, was fourth at the 2012 Pan American Championships, and placed second in the 2009 World Championships Team Relay.
