Amy Fraser

Amy Fraser is an Olympic skier who loves flying through the air in the ski halfpipe! She went to her first Olympics in 2022—only six years after she started training seriously.Amy didn’t always plan to be an Olympic athlete. One day, she saw her friends on the ski team having fun and decided to give freestyle skiing a try. She practiced jumps and tricks on her own, worked hard, and soon a coach noticed her talent. Before long, Amy was winning medals and competing all around the world. She has earned World Cup medals, competed at the X Games, and finished in the top 10 at the Olympics! When she’s not skiing, Amy loves reading, biking, making art, playing the ukulele, and finding really good ice cream. Her favorite saying is, “Half of life is just showing up.”Amy’s story shows that it’s never too late to try something new and chase a big dream!
